Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl boasts a diverse array of armor, enhancing player survival within The Zone's hazardous environment. The SEVA-V suit, a standout among the SEVA series, offers a significant advantage and is surprisingly obtainable early in the game—for free. This guide details its acquisition.
Acquiring the SEVA-V Armor in Stalker 2
The SEVA-V suit is located at the Scientist Helicopter point of interest (POI) in Stalker 2's Rostok region. This POI is southwest of the Rostok base, marked by a large field containing a crashed helicopter amidst an Electro anomaly and a massive, rusted crane. Reaching the suit requires some climbing.
Accessing the Scientist Helicopter POI & Climbing the Crane
Upon entering the POI, you'll see the crashed helicopter within the Electro anomaly (to the right) and a ladder ascending the rusted crane (to the left). Before tackling the crane, utilize your artifact detector to acquire an Electro-type artifact from the anomalous field near the helicopter. This will aid in mitigating the effects of the anomaly.
Climb the ladder on the left to reach the top of the crane. Once there, proceed right along the crane's structure to the operator's cabin on the left.
Retrieving the SEVA-V Suit and its Specifications
Carefully jump across the gap to the operator's cabin. Inside, you'll find a bag containing valuable supplies and the SEVA-V armor. Retrace your steps to descend the crane.
The SEVA-V suit is upgradeable via Screw, the technician at Rostok base. The base suit accommodates up to four artifacts and provides excellent radiation protection alongside respectable PSI protection. If you possess superior armor, selling the SEVA-V suit can yield a substantial amount of in-game currency.
