The Sims 4's Blast from the Past event presents players with rewarding yet challenging tasks. One particularly tricky challenge involves breaking and repairing an object. This guide provides a straightforward solution.
Week 2's challenge requires raising your Sim's Handiness skill to level 2 or higher and then repairing a broken object. While skill improvement is relatively simple, locating a broken item can be frustrating. The easiest approach is to intentionally break something.
Instead of using the "prank" interaction (which requires specific traits), repeatedly using an inexpensive item will eventually cause it to break. The Ambassador toilet is an ideal choice; repeated use (around a dozen times) will cause it to malfunction. This can be achieved by your Sim or by inviting guests to use it.
Once the toilet is broken, simply select the "Repair" option (requires Handiness level 2). After a short repair time, the challenge will be completed.
