Get Ready to Catch Shroodle in Pokémon GO!
Pokémon GO trainers have a new challenge: catching Shroodle! This Poison-type Mouse Pokémon, fresh from Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, arrives in Pokémon GO on January 15, 2025, as part of the Fashion Week: Taken Over event. Unlike many wild spawns, Shroodle requires a bit more effort to obtain.
Shroodle's Shiny Debut?
Currently, a Shiny Shroodle is not available in Pokémon GO. Expect its shimmering variant to appear in a future event, possibly one focused on Poison-types or Team GO Rocket.
Hatching Shroodle: The 12KM Egg Method
To add Shroodle to your collection, you'll need to hatch 12KM Eggs. These eggs, obtainable only by defeating Team GO Rocket Leaders (Sierra, Arlo, and Cliff) or Giovanni, will have a chance of containing Shroodle. The Fashion Week: Taken Over event is an ideal time to stock up on 12KM Eggs due to increased Team GO Rocket activity.
Securing Those 12KM Eggs
Remember, 12KM Eggs are a rare commodity, exclusively dropping from victorious battles against Team GO Rocket Leaders. Make the most of the increased Rocket encounters during the event to maximize your chances.
Evolving to Grafaiai
Grafaiai, Shroodle's evolution, also arrives on January 15th. Unlike Shroodle, it’s not obtainable through eggs or wild encounters. Evolving your Shroodle into Grafaiai requires 50 Shroodle Candy—so get walking or hatching!
Pokémon GO is available now.
