Elden Ring's famed "Let Me Solo Her" shifts focus from Malenia to Shadow of the Erdtree's challenging boss, Messmer the Impaler. Known for his legendary Malenia defeats, this YouTuber is now assisting players struggling with the DLC's mandatory encounter.
Malenia, previously considered Elden Ring's toughest boss, has been rivaled by Messmer the Impaler in difficulty. Many players find Messmer particularly frustrating due to the fight's mandatory nature within the storyline, hindering solo playthroughs of the expansion.
The iconic player, Klein Tsuboi, recently concluded his "Final Malenia soloing stream," signaling a transition to tackling Messmer. His YouTube channel now features streams dedicated to helping players conquer this formidable foe, with a recent video aptly titled "Let me solo him." This shift was anticipated, as Let Me Solo Her had previously hinted at retiring from Malenia battles earlier this year.
Elden Ring Legend Assists with Messmer the Impaler
Maintaining his signature minimalist approach, Let Me Solo Her faces Messmer wielding only two katanas, a jar helmet, and a loincloth. Despite his simple attire, he consistently delivers significant damage. His dedication is evident, having reportedly fought Malenia over 6,000 times since the game's release. The announcement of Shadow of the Erdtree sparked his interest in Messmer and the DLC's increased difficulty.
Following player complaints about the DLC's high difficulty, FromSoftware released an update aimed at improving accessibility. Bandai Namco also suggested leveling up the Scadutree Blessing to aid in defeating the new bosses. However, for those still struggling, the chance of encountering Let Me Solo Her in co-op offers a welcome solution.
